How Does JUVÉDERM Work?
JUVÉDERM treatments commonly last about 15 – 30 minutes, depending on the number of areas being treated. Your face will be cleaned, and injection spots will be marked. JUVÉDERM dermal fillers contain lidocaine (a local anesthetic) to minimize discomfort during the procedure. After your procedure, you may resume your daily routine; however, strenuous activity (like exercise) should be avoided for at least 24 hours. You should be careful not to touch your face after your injections to prevent massaging the gel into other areas.
